Out-Spoken Speakers Bureau

Out-Spoken was founded in June of 2009 by Donna McKinley and Anthony Baumann (ME) to present teachers, speakers, preachers, presenters and authors in an easy-to-read and easy-to-use form. It is built to give event planners a way to find the perfect speaker for them and the event.

Out-Spoken presented it’s own set of challenges, which included;

1. Almost no Blog Posts

2. Multiple Users

3. Users have to be able to edit their own page, but not publish them until reviewed and approved by an administrator

4. MANY Contact forms

5. Booking Form must have a calendar and planner must be able to select the speaker

6. On the “Submit a Bio” form, the user must accept 3 terms before they were allowed to submit their bio

7. Showcase of Speakers on the home page.

8. Download of Bios

9. Show Speaker’s Events

10. Showcase “New Speakers” Prominently

All of these challenges were met by a Month and the site has 9 speakers as of right now!
